Duff told Women’s Health, “I can’t help but feel like, ‘I am on camera and actresses are slim’ because of my work route. It was horrible. Just a year after her renowned program ended, Duff, then seventeen, struggled with an eating condition.

Before returning to television earlier this year for How I Met Your Father, Duff pursued other endeavors after her time at Disney, including music.
Duff currently works with a personal trainer to assist her to manage her life. Instead of only improving the outside of my body, she told the magazine, “[I’m] embracing my health and engaging in activities that make me feel powerful.” “Spending time with individuals who make me feel good and who have similar beliefs about health and body acceptance, getting adequate sleep, and eating a balanced diet.” The second season of How I Met Your Father will include Duff as a leading lady sometime in 2019.
Fans are still hoping for a reunion between Lizzie and Gordo in the interim.
